The name comes from Exodus 16: the people of Israel have left Egypt and been wandering in the wilderness for about 40 days & complained to Moses about their need for food. God responds "I am going to rain bread from heaven for you, & each day the people shall go out and gather enough for that day...the house of Israel called it manna; it was like coriander seed, whit, and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey."
In our fast paced society, it is easy to feel cut off and disconnected for God and others. My hope is that this simple Blog of my sermons, prayers, and experiences will feed your soul each week with God's Word and you will experience the love of Christ, Emmanuel, God with us.
